In order to support their continuing growth, Process Engineers are now required to join this leading partner to the international automobile industry which delivers mechatronic systems and electric drives to more than 50 automotive manufacturers as well as suppliers. They are a truly global company with locations in 23 countries on all major automotive markets worldwide.

As the Process Engineer you will look after products and work systems of a specific group of customers with relevant product spectrum. You will also determine and plan work stations and processes/process improvements using appropriate planning instruments to produce optimum layout. You will establish, introduce, improve and enforce MTM standard times as well as design safe/stable and cost optimised assembly and logistics processes including poka yoke. Your role will also be to maintain basic data, FMEAs, control modifications as well as to facilitate and drive continuous improvement activities in line with business targets and objectives e.g. Kaizen workshops, manufacturing and logistics rationalization. You will ensure machinery availability whilst adapting machine capacity to required call-off figures. You will be responsible, as a member of the manufacturing team and together with other team members, for low cost complete process and continuous improvement of processes. In addition you will contribute to the introduction of new products and equipment by understanding and influencing decisions reached by Customer teams.

To succeed in this role you will require a good engineering degree (preferably in manufacturing/production) and an IIW/EWF qualification would be advantageous. You should also have experience in a high volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive as well as experience in working with laser and MAG welding technologies, robotics, SAP and FMEAs. You should be fluent in English and knowledge of German would be advantageous.
