There are still loads of new jobs available in the IT sector, which could be a reassuring discovery for jobseekers!
New figures published by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation have shown that the last three months has seen demand for employees rise yet again.
Jeff Brooks, chair of the group's technology division, said that this is an area where jobseekers will continue to have good luck.
"These results show that the demand within the sector continues to grow and return to good health," he explained.
The number of IT jobs rose by four per cent between April and June, while ten per cent more jobs opened up for those with skills in this area.
Disciplines which offer the best odds are systems development, architects and those with experience in .NET and SQL SVR.
The head of marketing at the National Computing Centre, Michael Dean, recently told jobseekers that the more IT savvy you are, the better your odds at getting a job.
