As an Audit Semi Senior you would need to be a high-calibre experienced Accountant or Auditor capable of examining the accounting records and practices of a business or other organisation.
In addition to the examining of accountant records you would be required to prepare Accountant’s Reports, and assist the Audit Manager and Audit Senior. You would also need to oversee and supervise the work of other junior Auditors in your team. In your role you would be expected to work to tight budgets and your performance would be monitored against these budgets.
Audit Semi Senior functions include
As an Audit Semi Senior you would be expected to plan, execute and finalise recurring Audit projects, working directly with the client under Manager supervision. You would need to display rigorous project and Financial Management on all accounting work, control budgets and prepare reporting timetables.
You will need to produce work for the Audit Senior and Audit Manager for review by the Director. Primarily your work is aimed at providing an efficient and proactive service to your clients ensuring that their needs are fully met.
As an Audit Semi Senior you will work as part of the Audit team and it is therefore imperative that you are able to develop strong working relationships with the members of your team. You will also be required to supervise more junior staff both in the office and while on-site at the clients’ premises.
