The service is used by both Recruitment agencies and Direct Employers to advertise job vacancies and to search the online cv database for suitable candidates. Jobseekers can upload their CV and apply to job vacancies directly and securely via the website.

The service is completely FREE of charge to Jobseekers.

Simply create a free jobseeker account by clicking here. Once registered please follow the simple step-by-step instructions for uploading a CV.

Not a problem, when you upload you CV you will be given the option of hiding your CV so that it is only used when you choose to show it to a potential employer or alternatively you can choose to only allow your CV to be viewable by Recruitment Agencies and not individual companies.

Simply click the apply button at the bottom of the Job Vacancy that you are viewing or add it to the Jobs Basket (See Below). If you are an un-registered user you will be prompted to register before completing the application process. If you are already registered then a number of your details will be pre-filled into the application form for you.

The Jobs Basket works much like an online shopping cart in that you can place multiple jobs that you wish to apply for into the basket and then apply for them all in one go.

When you apply for a job vacancy advertised on careers and jobs UK we instantly forward your application onto the recruiter or employer that advertised the role. It is then up to them to process your application and contact you direct. If a few days have passed and you have not had a response then it may be a good idea to send a follow up e-mail. Details of all your past applications and recruiter contact details are stored in your jobseeker account on the site.
