Complex Motor Fleet Underwriter Job in Manchester

The Company

My client is a FTSE global insurer and a leading brand name in the general insurance arena. They have offices globally and in numerous locations across the UK.

The Role

As a senior trader you will be responsible for leading large and complex motor fleet cases with regards to underwriting, development and negotiation.

You will support underwriting strategy, play a crucial role in the achievement of financial goals, and represent the insurer on client relationship and bid meetings.

You will develop and maintain effective broker partnerships on an ongoing basis.

The Candidate

The ideal applicant will be known within their current environment as a technical expert and possess high level of underwriting authority.

You will have the ability to underwrite complex and unusual risks and have experience dealing with non-conventional covers. You should also be a skilled negotiator, proficient in relationship management.
