30 jobs created after beehive business relocation

SUBMITTED DATE: 24/05/10
30 jobs created after beehive business relocation People looking for UK jobs have received a boost by the news that a beekeeping company has been given permission to relocate in Lincolnshire after West Lindsey District Council approved the move.

The Lincolnshire Echo reported on the developments at EH Thorne (Beehives) Ltd which will move from its base in Wragby to West Lindsey and save 64 jobs in the process.

Paul Smith, the firm's managing director, told the newspaper that this is an exciting development for the company and the expansion plans will help it to meet demand for its services.

"We have been on our present site in the centre of Wragby for almost 100 years and outgrown the space available. With the purchase of the Rand site, we will have the space to grow the company to meet the current demand for beekeeping equipment," he said.

Jet2 is looking to recruit 150 new staff at its East Midlands Airport base, after announcing new routes to destinations like Turkey and Greece.
