New London jobs will be created when Raymond Blanc opens a Brasserie Blanc in the capital during April.
The site planned for the corner of Threadneedle Street and Old Broad Street will be the French restaurant chain’s eighth outlet in the UK but will mark their first venture into London.
Brasserie Blanc has endured great successes with their sites in towns outside of city.
Ian Glyn, director at Brasserie Blanc commented on the move and said: "So far we've specialised in running restaurants in nice towns outside London and we know what we're doing there. This will be a bit different but we're very much looking forward to catering for the people in the city.
According to the news source the London Brasserie Blanc will be a double storey 140-cover
restaurant and bar. It will be separated into a 100-seat dining room, 40-seat mezzanine and 20-seat terrance.
The company has raised funds to spur growth and has plans to open two or possibly four new outlets by 2014.
“We have raised funds to take Brasserie Blanc to the next stage of growth and will expand the brand to the same locations we specialise in already in towns outside of London,” Glen commented to Caterer Search.
The company’s growth endeavours will spark an increase in UK catering jobs at this well-established restaurant chain.
