New measures to cut the amount of bureaucracy that companies have to wade through are being brought in today, which could be good news for people looking for
UK jobs.
The government has put in place the final elements from the Companies Act 2006 and it estimates that around 2.5 million British firms will benefit from the streamlining measures.
Business minister Ian Lucas said: "We are working hard to create the best environment for businesses to thrive and it is paying off, with the UK recognised by the World Bank as the best place in Europe to do business."
The minister added that the changes have been widely welcomed by businesses because they are meant to simplify their operations and cut red tape.
Labour has recently given a boost to
health jobs by trebling the amount of apprenticeships it is offering to 5,000, with 1,000 of those being based in Yorkshire.
