Flintshire is bolstered by UK job creation

One county has received a boost from the news that 1,000 UK jobs will be created throughout the area in the coming years, according to one newspaper.
The Flintshire Chronicle reported on the new roles which have been planned after big name companies like Morrisons decided to start new projects in county.
Alyn and Deeside MP Mark Tami told the newspaper that the Flintshire jobs are well received, especially at the moment because of the difficult economic climate.
"I think it's testament to the work that has gone on over many years and it is proof that companies see Flintshire as a place to build their businesses. One of our biggest strengths is the quality of the workforce, which is encouraging companies to set up in our area," he said.
The Yorkshire Post reported on the Catalyst centre, which will be based on the University of York campus and is due to open in November, creating jobs and space for entrepreneurs and academic to develop their ideas.
