More than 300
retail jobs will be made available in Kent later this year when a new retail park is officially opened.
ThisisKent.co.uk reported that the £9 million development at Fountains Retail Park will provide jobs at stores such as M&S Home and Food, Dream Beds, Pets at Home and Halfords.
Four restaurants and cafes will also be built on the site, while 330 car parking spaces will be provided.
Nick Alford, a spokesperson from developer LXB properties, told the source that the development is running to schedule after planning permission was granted early last year.
"I understand M&S will employ approximately 225 people alone (full and part time) so it is likely to be approaching 300-350 in total ," he stated.
