New catering jobs for Birmingham with Côte restaurant

New catering jobs could be created in Birmingham with a new French restaurant at The Mailbox complex.

According to the Birmingham Post, Côte, an award winning French Cuisine restaurant has taken out a 25-year lease at the upmarket complex.

The restaurant will open next spring and will be located on an area encompassing 3,900 sq ft next to Pizza Express.

According to Caterer News, the Coffer Peach Business Tracker unveiled that sales for UK’s largest restaurant chains increased with 1.7pc compared to September 2008.

The statistics are promising for the future of new restaurants as well.

The complex will also add an All Saints to their collection of retailers and will also create new jobs.

Kevin Breese, general manager of Harvey Nichols at The Mailbox, told the newspaper: “There is no denying it has been a tough year for retail. But we are already seeing sales pick up for Christmas and our pop-up seasonal gift shop here in particular is proving a big hit with shoppers.”

The two newest additions to The Mailbox will add to the diversity the complex currently provides.
