UK jobs could be boosted by the news that one of the world's most famous chefs is set to open a new establishment in Scotland, which he will be putting his name to.
STV.tv reported that Albert Roux, who was the first chef in the UK to be awarded three Michelin stars, is planning to open a new establishment called Chez Roux in East Lothian.
The establishment will be based at the Greywalls hotel in Gullane and the chef, who has helped train people like Gordon Ramsay and Marco Pierre White, said he fell in love with the establishment the first time he saw it.
"This is a jewel with the view of the sea and having lunch or dinner and a drink on the terrace. The garden - and I am a very keen gardener - is absolutely beautiful. So you could say it was love at first sight," he told the website.
