The expansion of a successful day nursery is helping to create 20
education jobs in the Cotswolds, according to one newspaper.
Cotswold Journal reported that Winchcombe Farm Day Nursery in Tysoe has increased its size twice since it opened more than four and half years ago and will now provide spaces for 52 children.
The owner of the nursery, Steve Taylor, told the newspaper: "There is a great demand for high-quality private child care in locations such as Tysoe."
Warwickshire County Council part-funded the latest extension because it helped to create childcare facilities, which are sought after in the area.
Winchcombe Farm takes children aged between six weeks and five years old and the new employees will be involved in looking after the infants, who have the use of an organic vegetable patch, four outdoor play areas and a forest school when they attend the nursery.
The baker, Warburtons, has recently created hundreds of
south-west jobs at its new facility at Severn Beach, near Bristol.
