As the
UK jobs market recovers, using online recruitment services will be a vital driver in ensuring the resurgence is maintained, according to one expert who said jobseekers will need the specialist assistance to get placed in a suitable role.
Recruitment and Employment Confederation director of research Roger Tweedy said that the latest research from the Confederation of British Industry, which suggests the number of companies operating recruitment freezes will drop from 61 per cent to 37 per cent over the coming year, means agencies will be essential.
"The industry must continue to drive its own proactive research agenda to track these trends and to promote the added value of using recruitment agencies to meet increasing demand for new staff," he explained.
Mr Tweedy added that although it is early days in the recovery process, more employers are becoming more confident and beginning to consider recruiting new staff.
Training is another essential element of the
UK job market recovery, according to Ofsted which recently said schemes can help jobseekers become more attractive to potential employers.
