UK jobs could be created if Labour cuts taxes and takes financial pressure off of businesses, according to one expert who said that the measures would help the economy recover quicker.
George Magnus said in his Economic view column for the Times that the extreme actions of the world's governments have helped employment to improve in the last year
The newspaper stated: "Attempts to bounce our way back to the old precipice cannot succeed and we have to think about new economic strategies that will require commitment, patience and, above all, jobs."
He added that millions of new roles need to be created in the coming year but unlike other recessions jobs in the financial market cannot be relied upon.
