UK's largest water and wastewater services company will create nearly 200 Berkshire jobs at their new nerve centre in South Reading.
According to the Wokingham Times, Thames Water will need 196 outstanding employees to join their team at Green Park.
Vacancies will include call centre agents, work planners and a number of technical roles.
The new Operations Management Centre (OMC) will open in February and 135 staff from Swindon will need to transfer there in April.
Jayne Farrin, Thames Water’s head of corporate communications, commented: “As a place of work, the OMC will have the X Factor.
“As well as being a cool, smart place to work with great travel links – bus, train and proximity to the M4 – and gym, creche and restaurant facilities right next door, people working at the OMC will have a real sense of purpose, delivering the life-essential services of providing safe, clean drinking water and taking away people’s waste.”
Farrin added that Thames Water’s performance is at an all time high and they would like to build on their excellent service in 2010 and beyond.
New jobs at the company will undergo an extensive training programme and be involved at a company who deliver fantastic growth opportunities.
