UK jobs need to take some of the environmentally-conscious behaviour they show at home into the workplace, according to a new report released today.
The survey, conducted by Tickbox.net and Opinion Matters, highlighted how workers' behaviour differs at the home and when at work, with women being the worst culprits for not acting in an energy-efficient manner.
Environment secretary Hilary Benn said: "Small firms are facing challenging times, today more so than ever. Finding ways to save money will help businesses retain a competitive edge."
He added that being sustainable is essential in the current economic climate and helps to protect the environment, which may interest people looking for
UK jobs.
Training is another part of the UK employment market recovery, according to Ofsted which recently claimed projects can help jobseekers become more attractive to potential employers.
