This highly successful Midlands-based retailer is looking to appoint an Assistant Merchandiser on maternity cover basis.
As Assistant Merchandiser you will support the Merchandiser in the planning, trading and distribution of a product area in line with departmental sales, space, stock, mark down, final margin percentage and cash profit targets.
This position will be a great step in your Merchandising career, an area that is of vital importance to retailers.
You will be working on older girls' wovens, therefore previous experience in this area will be an advantage.
The ideal candidate MUST either be someone who is at Merchandise Assistant level and looking to make the next step, or at Assistant Merchandiser level and looking for a new challenge in an exciting business. In addition to this you will be highly analytical and a great team player.
